Logical workflow
At the heart of Sqorz is a logical workflow that guides operators through the event from start to finish. Completed tasks are clearly indicated in the navigation bar and screens requiring attention are also highlighted. Look for it in the screenshots below.
Create an event
Right from the get-go, Sqorz makes it easy to get your event right. Events settings are limited to those relevant for your region and event type. This avoids a myriad of problems caused by having too many options.

Registration
Completing entry/registration/sign-on is the first crucial step of any race day. Sqorz strives to makes this process as easy and stress free as possible with a variety of innovative features.
For club events, entry details from previous races are remembered. Entry becomes as simple as scanning a competitor's license or typing in part of their name.
For larger events, online entries can be loaded into Sqorz. Multiple registration stations with bar code scanners are supported. Self-service stations give competitors the ability to check their transponder and entry details by themselves, further reducing effort by officials.

TranspondersA variety of tools are provided to help your event run smoothly when scoring with transponders.
A dedicated screen identifies any riders lacking a transponder. Transponders with weak batteries are highlighted. A report shows transponders with expiring subscriptions. Sqorz also helps you to manage an inventory of transponders for hire or loan, and allocate them to competitors. If you don't use transponders, all transponder controls are safely hidden away to prevent mistakes or confusion. |

Race orderSqorz has a sophisticated race order management screen that allows complete control of race order.
Controls are included to quickly synchronise class order across multiple phases, as well as the ability to finesse the race order in individual phases. Detailed analysis is provided to allow easy management of competitors entered in multiple classes. The analysis updates in real-time as the race order is adjusted. Sqorz can manage the race order for multi-day events. |

DrawingThe last step before racing is to draw the races.
This screen makes it easy to see what has been drawn and what needs to be drawn. It shows how many races and competitors are expected at each phase for each class and any discrepancies are highlighted. The draws for every race can be reviewed and manually edited (if required due to some unusual circumstance). If desired, Sqorz will automatically draw qualifiers and finals as racing progresses—minimising work for the scorer. It is easy to update the draw if late entries are permitted. Scrambled Motos When using scrambled motos, Sqorz guarantees fair gate assignments. This seems simple but is mathematically extremely complex. A single race of 8 riders can be drawn 40,320 different ways. Three motos of 8 riders can be drawn an astonishing 65,548,320,768,000 different ways! However, almost all of these draws are unfair: giving some riders better/worse starting positions. With multiple gates of riders, Sqorz mixes riders between heats to maximise the number of different riders faced. Mathematically this is even more complex, but Sqorz delivers—without compromising fair gate assignments. |
Automatic ScoringWhen combined with MYLAPS decoders & transponders, Sqorz automatically scores races. This let you run races with fewer officials and much less effort.
Intervention by the scorer is usually only required for DNF/REL/DNS or where results are disputed. Manual override is possible on all automatic results and it is easy to withhold results from live publication. A searchable timing data display shows raw timing data received from decoders. Sort by starting position, name, plate, transponder, hill time, finish time or result.

FinishLynx ScoringAnother scoring option is FinishLynx cameras and software. In this mode, entries, classes, race order, draws and transfers are managed by Sqorz. Scoring races is principally handled in FinishLynx.
Event details are exported to FinishLynx to allow the scorer to select races and competitors. Sqorz imports results from FinishLynx as they are scored. It is then easy to amend results in Sqorz (for example relegation), or rescore using FinishLynx results if necessary.

Our Sqorz is not just for results, it is also a tool for running an event smoothly: it informs competitors about class merges, race schedule, staging information and more. Organisations A home page is provided for each organisation, where all their events and series can be found in one place. Live Race Results Allows competitors, audiences and officials to stay up to date as racing progresses, whether they are at the track, at home, or on the other side of the world. Live Race Statistics See the best hill and finish times for each rider. Class Details Full details for each class including competitors, rankings, race format, schedule and staging information. Merged classes are clearly marked so that all competitors know what class they are racing in. The race format shows the number of competitors and races at every phase of the event, so competitors know what they need to do in each race. Competitor Details A personalised page is provided for every competitor where they can check their entry details including class(es) entered, registration status, plate, transponder and club. This personal page also shows for every entered class: the race schedule, staging information, results and times. There is even a warning for transponders with low battery. Club & Team Details Each event/series contains a page for each club/team (if relevant), showing at a glance how each member is going, with drill down to see the detailed results for each competitor. For events, sorting by race order allows managers (and others) to get members to their races on time. Sqorz provides services on your local area network (LAN) and in the cloud (internet).
This sounds complicated but is in fact very simple. It usually takes less than a minute to setup! Registration Open multiple registration stations to speed through even the longest queue. Entries are updated directly in the event (no need to copy entries from each registration station back into the event). Competitor Self-Service Self-Service allows competitors to check their transponder and/or license and optionally enter/register. It is designed to work without supervision, thus reducing staff workload. A Sqorz innovation: competitors can check their transponder and register for the event by swiping their transponder at a self-service station. Pre-Staging Display a real-time list of upcoming classes on screen(s) near the entrance to the staging area. This helps staging officials and riders alike to prepare for upcoming races.
