Yes, Sqorz does an excellent job of scoring races manually or with transponders.
When using transponder scoring, Sqorz automates most of the scoring process. The scorer usually only takes action for DNF/REL/DNS or when results are disputed.

Yes, real time results can be show on big screens connected computers on the same network. Some organisations use Google Chromecast very successfully to send live results to big screens.

Will results from club races be shown on the app?
Yes, results from club racing can be distributed to mobile phones.
Do the results from manually scored races appear on the app?
Yes, manually scored race results are distributed to smartphones in the same way as electronic timed results.
Where are the results stored?
Results are stored in the cloud and also on backups on your computer (or wherever you decide to store them).
Can Sqorz calculate series points?
Yes, Sqorz can manage many different types of series structure, it takes a few minutes to set it up.
Are series points shown on the app?
Yes, series points are updated in the app as soon as a race has been finalised and saved.
How long does it take to setup an event in Sqorz?
It should take no longer than a few minutes to setup an event in Sqorz including the import of the rider member list.
Can sign-on / entry / registration be done by transponder?
Absolutely, it is possible to check transponder and sign-on at the same time, this has the double benefit of saving time and also confirming transponder details / subscription.

What is the minimum computer specification for Sqorz?
We recommend the following:
- minimum Intel i5 processor (CPU) or equivalent
- minimum 8GB RAM
How many computers are needed to run Sqorz?
You only need 1 computer to run Sqorz. For major events, we recommend that you have a backup computer.
What hardware / equipment is required to run a race using transponders?
Basic hardware requirements are:
- Windows computer
- MYLAPS decoder
- Start pulse box
- Loops (hill and finish)
- Coax to connect loops to the decoder
- Network equipment (depending on your network set-up)
- Internet access (phone hotspot or dongle work well)
Is it necessary to have 2 decoders?
You can run a race with 1 decoder, however 2 decoders will allow you to setup a transponder checking / sign-on station which will improve the sign-on experience. Having 2 decoders also means that you have a backup in case of hardware failure.
Is an Internet connection required to run Sqorz?
An Internet connection is required to set-up the race event but is not necessary to actually run the event. However, an Internet connection is necessary to publish results to mobile phones.
What operating system is required to run Sqorz?
Current versions of Windows or MAC OS
Does Sqorz need to use an old version of Excel?
No, Sqorz does not use Office or Excel.
