The Circuit and Road module in Sqorz brings an exciting experience to riders/athletes and coaches involved in sports where multiple laps are part of the racing or training format. Well known cycling examples are Criterium and Velodrome but Sqorz can manage virtually any single or multiple lap racing.

Race Events

• Setup race events based on number of laps (e.g. 15 lap race)
• Setup race events based on time + laps (e.g 40 mins + 3 laps)
• Ability to set one or more ’Sprint’ laps
• Option for sprint laps to use total elapsed time (e.g. rider positions after 5 laps) or to report on the actual time taken to do a specific lap (e.g. time taken to do lap 5)
• Settings are configurable per class (e.g. A group has a 20 lap race, B group has a 15 lap race, C group has a 10 lap race)
• Total flexibility to amend these settings before, during and after a race
• Ability to ‘Activate’ each class for racing separately (e.g. B group is practicing (Sqorz is ignoring) while A group is racing (Sqorz is scoring))
• Registration (including transponder registration) can continue for classes that have not commenced racing
• Race Officials can be registered in specific roles in each event e.g. Commissaire, Duty Officer, Duty Helper
• Functionality to Add a lap to a rider (i.e. to compensate for laps lost because of a mechanical)
• Functionality to Remove a lap from a rider (i.e. as a penalty)​

• Seamless integration with MYLAPS decoders
• Transponder timing — live updates
• Transponder timing — individual lap times
• "Get Times" function that allows race to be rescored by selecting the first valid lap time (useful for scenarios where the scorer missed the start of the race, or where spurious times occur before the actual start of the race)
• Multiple decoders / time lines as required

​Aggregate (series) calculations

• Flexible points scales
• Results are updated immediately the event has finished — no waiting
• Option to treat the classes separately or all together for the purposes of the aggregate
• Race officials can receive aggregate points (i.e. points from both competing and officiating count towards the aggregate total)

Views
​
Sqorz has an amazing feature designed for velodrome tracks with multiple timing loops where times are required from different sub-sets of the loops.

It's called Views and it allows coaches and trainers to define subsets of timing loops focussing on the times required by the particular athlete/discipline. For example sprint or endurance.

It really couldn't be easier! Setup a single track configuration which includes all loops, then simply define the views needed for different training scenarios. It's slick and very cool. There is no need to stop training to configure the system, no need to create multiple timing configurations. Just click to switch between the different Views.
